Raising children with special needs can prove to have unique challenges that only other parents who  have “been there, done that” can understand.  Parent Connections offers the parents of Bridge View students a chance to meet others who have experienced first-hand the joys and challenges of raising children with special needs.  Connections joins together staff and parents who know what it is like to “navigate the systems” and are there to share ideas, information, experiences and support.   Connections offers a chance to learn more about therapy services, In-school programs such as home ec., swimming, adaptive Phy. Ed. and more, as well as community activities, medical services, transition services, non-school day programming options and therapies.
This is an opportunity for you to informally meet with other parents and get to know one another over coffee and treats.
