Celebration of Learning
Every month Bridge View recognizes students during an all school assembly called Celebration of Learning.

Family Fun Night
Family Fun Night is an opportunity for staff, students and their family to to get together to meet other parents, families and staff in a social setting. Some of the activities have included making birdhouses and stepping stones, a storyteller, bingo night, plant a garden, and a pajama and movie night. A fun time is had by all.

Funfest
Each year our Parent Teacher Association sponsors a school carnival, FunFest. The purpose of Funfest is to provide us the opportunity to invite the West7th community into our environment to meet and learn about our special needs students and families.
Proceeds from Funfest are used to provide a variety of life experiences that would otherwise be unavailable to many of the students. Examples may include adapted equipment, supplies, and field trips which are valuable components in our attempt to integrate our students into the community. Over half of our students are in wheelchairs, making the cost of transportation exceptionally high.

Graduation
Every spring we have a Graduation ceremony honoring that year graduates. The Graduation ceremony is a formal event consisting of a graduation dinner for family and friends, a formal graduation ceremony with honored commencement speakers in the district board room which concludes with limo rides after the ceremony for graduates and families.

Homecoming

Eagle" and the school colors are blue and gold. Activities include
voting for royalty, pepfest, arm wrestling, coronation, dance and wrestling match against Monroe Achievement Plus Community School.

Open House

staff, visit classrooms, socialize and enjoy ice cream. Several tables
were set up representing school committees, functions and partnerships.

Rodeo and Wild West Days
Each day has a variety of multi-sensory activites with a western theme. Students take part in a Southwest cook-off, make western pictures, study about cowboys, participate in square and line dancing and take part in a rodeo set up in the school. Every 15 minutes students move around the school to stations that have a western theme. The stations include a hayride, wild bronco ride, horseshoes, bull dogging, calf roping, cowboy camp, the county jail and Cooky's Chuck Wagon for flap jacks, beans, rattle snake and cactus juice.
