Communication
Device
Functional communication skills are a key to greater independence for our students. Students are given consistent opportunities to make choices throughout the school day by selecting symbols or objects presented with whatever level of assistance each student needs.

Students share information in a variety of ways during class. They some students use words while other students use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems that may include symbols, gesture, sign, sounds, and assistive technology (AT). Students receive the support of a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to enable them to perform to their maximun level of independence.
