Bridge View School is a Federal setting 4, K-12, specialized special education school that serves the learning needs of students with severe and profound low-incident developmental disabilities.
A highly dedicated, resourceful and caring staff creates a meaningful school experience designed around the unique learning needs of the students. The students are the heart of the program. Special accommodations and modifications empower students to progress in the general curriculum. Students are prepared for post-school success in community involvement, work opportunities, job training and life skills.
Bridge View is a one story, barrier free school. Special features include: - Close student to staff ratios - Small class sizes - Speech and Language Services - Occupational Therapy - Physical Therapy - Adaptive Physical Education - Music Therapy - Home Economics - Pool Therapy - Full-time nursing coverage - Full-time social work services - Deaf and Hard of hearing supportive services - American Sign Language support with a therapeutic pool, air conditioning/climate controlled environment, gymnasium, an outside playground and play field. Student work and achievements are proudly displayed throughout our main hallway and lobby.
